We stayed there this weekend and wow, what a wonderful experience! We took Rusty and his son Patrick (Alpacas)for a sunset walk. What good boys! Benji the Icelandic sheep was very cute. but my favorite was Henry the Alpaca. He was a little pushy but we became friends and I got to feed him breakfast! The bunkie was very comfortable and clean and our hosts were so friendly. I’m looking forward to coming back again and visiting. Everyone should visit, it’s definitely a great experience. and there’s a little store to purchase alpaca products. Socks, scarfs, mitts and more!

Had a wonderful experience with Yvonne and her beautiful alpacas today! Brought my two young granddaughters to meet and walk with the alpacas. They loved it! They haven’t stopped talking about Rueben and Sam! Yvonne is so knowledgeable about alpacas and llamas. She taught us all about the alpacas, how they are cared for, what they like to eat and so many other interesting facts. She is a wonderful hostess and so very kind. She really loves her animals and gives them a great life! Her farm is beautiful and very well maintained. Her husband is a character too! I would highly recommend this activity for everyone, young and old! Thank you Yvonne for the wonderful experience!

We stayed at SAMYS Monday and Tuesday and surprised our 3 kids. They had so much fun!! Yvonne and Steve were amazing hosts and added cute alpaca touches all over the bunkie. We loved the campfire, chess game and our evening alpaca walk. Thank you for being so patient with the kids and teaching them about the alpacas. We highly recommend a visit or an overnight stay. Had the most fantastic visit today. Yvonne’s communication due to the weather was second to none. It was fun and really informative. I’ll definitely be back!

Yvonne and her husband are such kind people. The property is so beautiful and charming, walking and feeding the alpacas was such a fun experience and we learned so much about the animals and about Yvonne’s history. We stayed in the bunkie (4 ladies plus 2 in a tent) and had a great time! Make sure to pack everything you would as if you were going camping (bbq, dishes, etc). Having access to their basement bathroom was a definite plus! I highly recommend it, and will be returning with my husband and kids!

I highly recommend taking an alpaca for a walk; It was such a pleasant experience! The bunkie is adorable and was fun waking up next to the alpacas!
