Welcome to S.A.M.Y.’s Alpaca Farm and Fibre Studio. We are a family business located north of Strathroy in South Western Ontario, Canada. We care for 40 alpacas, 4 llamas, 4 goats, and one Icelandic sheep.

We enjoy spending time with these beautiful gentle animals and decided to share our experience with farm visitors with an alpaca walk and farm stays with Airbnb.

We think of our farm as a sanctuary for alpacas and sometimes their companion animals. Over the years we were fortunate to be able to accept alpacas in need of a new, safe home. We believe all animals have the right to live their life to the fullest and we keep them comfortable and happy. They found their forever home!

Alpacas have to be sheared once a year for their health and well-being. We make products from their amazing warm and soft fibre (hair) and offer it for sale in our Farm Store.

┬áIn a way besides being wonderful, funny, curious, gentle, and shy beings – they pay for their own upkeep.

We are happy to share the skills we learned and practiced by creating our own products with everybody in our Workshops.
